Where oh when should my little Blog be, oh where oh when should it be? A key to blogging for your MLM home business opportunity is to find the right place and don't get blogged down!

The place to blog is a huge key in successfully having people find, visit and read your blog posts. There are literally 1000's of possibilities out there and sites set up for bloggers to easily commence frantically tapping away on their ergonomic colored keyboards and sending their thoughts off into the 'web-a-sphere'. Yet sadly, a very HIGH majority are only ever visited and read by (a) themselves (b) their spouse or partner (c) their mothers. Now that's OK if they're the only ones that it's meant for. It's not true that "Every blog has it's day!"

If you are blogging for business, you want the biggest possible audience that you can reading and enjoying your witty and informative repartee. So how can we get more than you and your mum enjoying your posts?

First, go back and read my last blogging article Blogging For Beginners For Home Based Business Owners and the information regarding social sites and your registering on them, then come back and read on.

Many of the social sites I mentioned there, have facilities to post blogs rather than simply posting a blog on some obsolete blog only page that nobody knows, or cares exists, except you. By posting your blog on a social site where you have now attracted many friends, you have an immediate audience with the real potential to go and view your blog. It's not just any blog to them, it's a friend's blog! Many of these sites also have the facility to share your post immediately on many of your other social sites.

For example, in more recent times I tend to use MySpace for blogging. No, I don't have to then go and retype or copy and paste my blog at every other social network that I belong to. I simply post my blog on MySpace because it's very simple to use and then 'view' my blog and hit the 'RSS' (Really Simple Syndication) which allows you to syndicate your site or share with other sites. From here, I can very speedily whip my blog also across to Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Plaxo with the push of a button! Hours saved. Blog posted. Back to business.

You can teach an old Blog new tricks! This is an absolute ripper of a tip I'm about to share with you. Register at ping.fm. Ping will allow you to post a short comment with a link to your latest addition on your chosen blog site. Ping will them immediately 'ping' that to every one of your social sites that you have added there and it will appear simultaneously. In a matter seconds you can have thousands of people who may be currently on their social site, sitting with your comment with a link to your blog right in front of their eyes!

Recently, I had multiple visits every minute for the first 60 minutes view my latest post on my blog. Not a bad readership 2 per minute. Ping can literally save you hours and expose you to thousands of people in seconds.

When to blog - Don't let sleeping blogs lie! This is something most people forget to consider. Certainly write your blog at any time but don't just shoot it out there across to all your other social sites whenever! Ask yourself, at what times of the day are my friends, colleagues and followers most likely to be at their computer socializing? 3am? Probably not! Generally, they will be there at some time during the evening or maybe on a weekend afternoon. Do your research and check when friends are online. On many sites like MySpace and Facebook it will show you how many are online at a particular time of the day. That's the time to ping your link to your blog!

If you're on Twitter, many of the people you link to may be in the USA. Again, consider the time you post stuff. At 6pm here most of them are zzzzzzzing so not a good time.

Remember, on other people's homepage, each new comment or tweet or post will push you down their page. So, after a while they may not necessarily see you've posted something. Therefore, don't be afraid to ping or share that link to your blog a few times during the evening and may be a few times during the week. Give people a chance to spot you

Remember, if you are a blogger for business, then there are 2 important keys to live by - be a benefit to your readers and then create ways to increase your readership. But, that can't happen if no one knows you're there!!!
